Internal Hemorrhoids are swollen or inflammed veins in the walls of the anal canal. They range in size from about the size of a small finger nail up to the size of a golf ball (in extreme cases).Internal hemorrhoids at times result in debilitating discomfort, most notably even though passing stools or sitting down. They are most commonly identified by seeing bright red blood in or on the stool
